PowerPacker LoadSeg Shell Decruncher
I was looking for a standalone decruncher that support decrunching PowerPacker LoadSeg files from shell and to my surprice I found one, PPCrack. Out of all PP decrunchers I've checked only a few support loadseg and only that one that works from shell. Are there really no others out there or have I simply overlooked something?

I in Dopus4 use LX, unpack everything (152 formats) but you need to have all the libraries required in Libs (you can find them in the archive)

LX doesn't seem to handle LoadSeg files correctly. It does say it detect it as a LoadSeg file but the output file is smaller than the original, the Hunk is incorrect (Hunk_Reloc table error?). It is Libraries I've packed and although the decrunched output isn't the same and I no longer can run Version on it programs still seem to work with this weird library, think it's safe to use "as is"? |

The packed file is strange. xpk doesn't recognize it but xfd works. |

Of course, LX can also unpack data files (icons, txt, image, sound) compacted with PowerData, see video. http://eab.abime.net/zone/Test-LX.avi |
