WinUAE issue

I’m going mad with this issue. My problem. I want to create a bootable 3.1 sd card for my A600.
I have followed three very good YouTube’s links in setting up winuae. I have followed every step to the letter, diskpart and clean my sd ( tried 1gb 4gb and 8gb)
I boot the emulation using my Amiga forever rom and wb3.1 install after adding the hard drive. Open hdtools to partition the sd card but every time it says workbench3.1 is full

I copied the hdtools to ram but it still fails. The videos look so easy.

This all happened after I purchased a card on line and updated it to 3.1 and better workbench. Now three of the portioned just show ndos and the games drives no longer work.

Pulling my hair out. I’ve also change the scsi Id to 5 but still unable to partition the drive.
Mikeygretro YouTube has a great config video, I just can’t get it to work.

Which device driver do you use? uaehf.device?

What if you create ~1G HDF file and try to partition it identically? (Bad SD cards and readers is not rare problem).

Also make sure you don't use WinUAE 4.9.0, it can work strangely when selecting empty physical drive. Any other version is safe.
