Hello Blip,

I've put these 2 files in The Zone! for you:

... Directory Opus v4.12 (1993-12-13)(Inovatronics)[h HLM][WB].zip
... Directory Opus v4.12CU (1994-10-31)(GP Software)[CU Amiga version].zip

There's also up to v4.16 on Aminet if that interests you at all?

Dopus

Thanks Guys,
Previously I had a copy that included an Installer.

I tried the Aminet 4.16 installer but this requested the 'dopus.library'

Copying this library to 'libs' did not fix the problem

Any further ideas?

Thanks again

Dopus 4.16 should work without installing it. Just put the directory where you want it to be and start it from there. I've uploaded 4.16 to the zone. I've tested the program with a clean workbench install and it works fine

DOpus

Thanks Thorham,
I figured that after reading the docs.

I tried the 4.16 you posted but still get the dopus.library v22.18 required prompt.

Thanks for the help

Checked version of the library in the archive, and it's the right one, so...

...maybe there are parts of an older version of dopus hanging around on your system. If that is the case, get rid of them, and try again after a reboot.

If this is not the problem, I'd try it on a clean workbench install, and if that fails, then please list your system specs and the patches, etc, you're using, and we'll try to get the thing working

Hi Thorham,
Clean installed the machine, attempted to run the 4.16 install from my cf card (pcmcia) still giving me the opus.library prompt.

I am running an 100% standard A1200,

Think its time to just run from location i copied the prog :-(

Thanks again for your help :-)

Sounds like the installation script is messing things up...

...which shouldn't matter if the program itself works. It's just inconvenient. You should be ablo to move the program directory to any location you want. I think I'll take a look at that script to see whats wrong with it.

I put the .library files in libs: (dopis.library and novacoder.library I think!). dopus help and cfg files in s: and other files(Dopus_disk etc) in C:

Then it should work!

If you wanna keep it all in same dir make sure you assign dopus: drive:dopuslocation/

That's required for the old version of diro. The 4.16 version shouldn't need this, which is, in my oppinion, one of 4.16's improvements. The program should work just fine from any location, as long as you move the whole directory, and run the program from within this directory. The assign also shouldn't be needed.
