No.

Look for a netgear ma401 on ebay...cheap as chips and work very well on the amiga 1200.

Keep in mind you can only use WEP, so unless you'd like your network to be hacked, I'd advise against going wireless.

I wonder if anyone who is tech enough to be using an Amiga WiFi card wouldn't know this?

Enabling WEP for short periods is fine as long as you remember to switch back to WPA2 after. It's not like there are nutters out there who drive around looking for WEP encrypted hot-spots.

No, from the link you posted:

It slides easily into any 32-bit CardBus slot
Amiga PCMCIA is older 16-bit standard. 32-bit Cardbus cards won't work on the Amiga.

It doesn't even fit into the slot.

I suppose that depends on your definition of "fit."

I actually had to replace a laptop for someone at work, because they tried to put a Cardbus USB card into the PCMCIA slot, and they "made" it fit.

Actually, the laptop was still usable after I straightened some pins, but PCMCIA never worked on it.
It was already old-ish at the time..

That user was "rewarded" with a newer laptop with USB.. And yes, we had a policy saying users "can't add their own cards."

Why was he rewarded???

Manager..

But I digress..

The OP is obviously unfamiliar with which cards the driver supports, why would he know which security protocols it supported?
