Nippon Safes Inc. italian language?

Although ADF and IPF are named as (M4) it seems there is no italian language on disk, there appears a language selection screen, where you have to select english, french, german or italian language, but if you try to choose italian language nothing happens.
It seems there are no italian language files present on disk, also WHDLoad package seems missing this files.
Can you confirm this or have i overlooked something?
Anyway i am sure a seperate italian version has been released.

That seems very likely since the box in HoL:
http://hol.abime.net/985/boxscan

specifies "versione italiana" (Italian version).

ScummVM data files page also seems to point in the direction of two releases. One M3 and the other Italian:
http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Da...ppon_Safes_Inc.

Amiga (Italian)

* Rename disk image 2 to disk1.
* Rename disk image 3 to disk2.
* Rename disk image 4 to disk3.
* Rename disk image 5 to disk4.

Amiga (Multi-Lingual)

* disk0
* en
* fr
* ge
* global.table
* pointer
* Rename disk image 2 to disk1.
* Rename disk image 3 to disk2.
* Rename disk image 4 to disk3.
* Rename disk image 5 to disk4.

Edit: I think that Italian is disabled via programming anyway. I tried to copy and rename "en" to "it" and there was still no result when clicking the Italian dictionary.

Ok, thanks for confirming.
Then it is more than likely, that the disk (ADF, italian), i have found is real and no translation.

Try with ScummVM (or upload it and I'll take a look).

If things are confirmed, you will have to ask for the Whdload slave to be updated .

I suppose WHDload guys are rather not interested, if no real original or IPF is available.

ScummVM does not detect a game if I build a directory the way it is specificied in the data files page containing the files for the Italian version. Same result whether I use, besides "it", the files from the Italian disk 1 or from the M3 release.

By the way, the disk0 file seems to differ qui a lot between the two versions.

It detects correctly the multi-lingual version though.

I see two possibilities:
ScummVM looks for a different "it" file
ScummVM looks for different disk1, 2 etc... files (adfs renamed). I used those from the M3 version with the Italian files.

Do you have the other disks from that Italian version?
