Hope I'm not making a needless post here but I am desperate to get a working version of Supremacy for my Miga1200. I have searched the threads and HOL but can't find it for download (lame). Anybody? Please?!?!

Darn it! It won't run on my A1200. Is there a WHDload version of this masterpiece or does anyone have a Kick1.3 Emulator I can download please?
Adderly - Thanks very much for the upload anyway. Cheers! |

I think I've found a 2 disk version of Supremacy but it looks like it could be the French version...
UPDATE 23/11/05 - The French (?) version is in English so great! It works! Anyone working on a WHDload version though? Last edited by vroom6sri; 23 November 2005 at 08:59. |

Try looking for Overlord which was the US title.

Hi All
:-) AFAIK, Supremacy works on OCS and ECS chipset, therefore, if you want to run it on an A1200, you'll need a degrader. cheers -- Eddy |

Supremacy Manual / Guide / Help
Hi All
Help Needed: Manual or even Guide or 3-page HowTo It's been over 15 years since I played Supremacy, and it was (at the time) Brilliant. I've managed to get a copy running in UAE-E, but I can't remember exactly how it works (in terms of the screens and icons etc) example: I built 3 hydroponic food ships, but my population still starved ... should they be in orbit? on the surface? how to do that? So, can anyone point me in the direction of a Manual, a Guide or even just a basic How-To thanks -- Ed |

Some simple info from what I recall…
Solar satelites need to be put into orbit ("duh!" I hear you say). Farming & Mining stations need to be placed on the surface and turned ON (watch out for messages about electo-magnetic storms or summin which turns them all off) and I think they may also need a crew assigning to them. I can't remember the screens you need to go into to achieve all of this but one looks like a planet surface with a sun rising/setting on the horizon. All the other options should be understandable after a little random clicking... |

So... I'm playing this game again and LOVING IT! Why hasn't this been migrated to smartphone already?!!????
It's been over 20yrs since I first played it on my beloved C64 and, after a little seemingly random clicking, I can remember how to play it although my tactics suck! Anyway... PLAY IT! |

My older brother played it a lot back then. I never tried it, it looked too complicated for my tastes. Things I faintly remember:
The enemy player's portrait was only hinted at by shining stars in hte blackness of space, creating a face silhouette Changing aggressiveness changed the facial expressions of the comabt troop graphic Equipped guns ranged from small rifles to massive cannons Overall, some very nice graphics for a game that was essentially a bunch of spredsheets full of sliders Especially the box cover was excellent. |

I strongly suggest you try it if you haven't played it before or not for a while. It's not complicated at all really. Once your familiar with the screens it's straightforward.

I agree its like playing a spreadsheet with graphics, but its still a fun game, with amazing music.
I always struggled to beat the second opponent though (I would run out of energy units too quickly) - I guess my strategy is not great! |
