"Add PC Drives to Startup" strange behaviour in v.5.0

Hello, I've always used the "Add PC Drives to Startup" option to run AMOS or other programs from within WinUAE. I''ve never installed any Workbench on any configuration, I just boot the emulated Amiga through a WB boot disk, then I access the hard drive through CLI. For some strange reason, I have only one way to do that in WinUAE v. 5.0.0: configuring an OCS Amiga with 1.3 ROM and 512Kb Slow RAM. If I set the machine with 1Mb Chip RAM (no Slow RAM), the emulator freezes when I try to run the program through CLI, or I get a Guru Meditation reset.
Any other configuration (ECS, AGA, 1Mb or 2Mb RAM, WB 2.0, 3.0, 3.1) doesn't even show the PC drive on the WB desktop!
I wonder what's going on, this feature had been working fine up until v. 4.10. Am I supposed to add some particular setting to make it work again?
I even tried to run WinUAE as administrator, but nothing changes. This happens on two different machines with Windows 10 64 bit, both on a traditional and an SSD drive (desktop pc and laptop).

The attached log refers to an OCS 1.3 ROM, 1Mb Chip RAM A500 configuration. The emulator froze when I tried to run AMOSPro from the PC hard drive. :-P

What does "not showing" mean? Do they appear in early boot menu? Did you check it in shell? (C:Info, don't use WB)

EDIT: log at least show the drive as being mounted and is accessible (E=0):

EDIT2: Does it boot normally if you tick CD & Hard files panel "Limit size of directory drives to 1G"?

EDIT3: Switch ROMs panel UAE boot ROM mode to 128k direct to work around it.

This last one did the trick!
"Add PC Drives to Startup" works with ANY config (OCS, ECS, AGA) again.
