Hi all!
I get a strange behaviour with my external goldwave 3A-1D floppy drive. It doens't seem to send to the amiga that the disk has changed, so when I'm in the WB i just type into the CLI "diskchange df1:" but when games/apps require to change (or insert) a disk, they will not recognize them because of the problem. Does anyone altered the circuit of the board in the drive to let it work?? Thanx!!!!! Bye! |

If you've got an oscilloscope or good multimeter, you could check to see if the disk change signal is getting through to the Amiga. It could be just a bad connection...

Maybe a a small drop of contact-liquid into the disk-insertion pin inside the drive will help ? ( as long as it isn't broken )
