Arrow problem mounting cd images

I am using winuae and have had problems mounting several of the fred fish cd's and the da capo music/sample/module collection on back to roots fred fish memorial archive. I am using daemon tools lite and am able to mount the xetec fish 'n' more volume 1 and 2 but not the goldfish cd's
or the da capo volume 1 amiga. How can i mount the da capo cd and the gold fish discs? daemon lite marks tnem as unmountable and they don't mount as a directory in winuae.

thanks...

Have you tried it within WinUAE?

yes i've tried that too. and i can't seem to mount anything using that, except if i mount it first using daemon tools.

That is actually another problem i've been having - how to mount images using the select image file. Does that function require a certain kickstart release to work?
I would think i could just select the cue file and it would appear on my wbench but nothing does. The only file i was able to mount i think was superstardust under cd32.

don´t open the .cue-files, look for .img or .bin files (the big ones which contain the data), you have to select to see all files first, then it will work

You need Workbench installed CD filesystem. Just like when using real Amigas. (CD32 and CDTV of course comes with built-in CDFS)

Huh? Always select TOC description file (.cue or other tiny similar files) if there is more than one large file or you'll lose all audio tracks (and other possible special tracks)

first thanks... now for an update - i was a little hazy about how i got the cd 32 superstardust to work, it wasn't through winuae select file image ; i had to mount the file on daemon tools first and add as directory. so now i can mount files with daemon tools but i still can't get winuae select image to work with any configurations loaded including cd32.

Toni says i need WB installed cd filesystem... this may be the problem, but i don't know enough about that- please explain how i do that? Also why doesn't cd32 configuration work then? does winuae have the CDFS built in for cd32 ? I'm thinking not and it has something to do with the cd32 devpack.

So do i need to install two types of CDFS one for cd32 and one for regular amiga?

(i used to own an amiga 1000 and 2000 no cdfs - so i'm trying to catch up now)

thanks...

This is not emulating a CD32, it is more like emulating an A1200 with read-only harddrive

Enable CD32 quickstart, select .cue file, start. Your image may not be proper CD32 image if you only get CD32 boot screen.

Anyone can tell me a good cdfs to install for win 1.3 and 3.1?

I don't really use the cd32 much anyway yet and i don't know if the image i have is cd32
it say it is (downloadsuperstardustcd32-iso) but it doesn't load under quickstart.
but it does load under cd32 player if i mount it as a directory under daemontools.

any help installing a cdfs for regular amiga cd would be appreciated...

thanks
