I'm sure it will be enjoyable to read, witty, informative, laden with conspiracy theories and a touch of paranoia thrown in too boot.

Guys, Guys, Guuys....

I don't want to see a flame war over this!

@Env: This is NOT a pr stunt, the whole idea of posting on both forums was to make it fair to ppl who wanted copies, I was expecting demand to be high, so to make it fair only the first 3 to post on both was going to get a copy, but obviously I was wrong. And as usual in this world, ppl make assumptions before they ask... Yes you are wrong.

Oh forgot too mention, the copies I post out will be personalised, so making it harder to spread :P

Just to make sure... the above statement was sarcastic.

And I can't believe I'm exempt! Oh well, just have to wait for the final copy, or a hacked one that I'll create myself from a dvd-rip of yours

God bless Bippy and Santa too!

Yes but why spread a beta demo, when the real thing will be completely free and BIGGER when finished!!

But I prefer lite margarine compared to the fuller, bigger stuff.

I was thinking of enrolling some EAB faves such as Marz to help me make a cracktro that comes on the telly when your DVD is loaded. If we corrupt the DVD or screw things up then even better as it will be just like the old times. Who knows it might annoy CDPS (Classic DVD Preservation Society) in 20 years time so you had better make sure you don't lose the original masters.

Of course any references to the creators of the DVD will be removed and replaced with the message "CRACKED BY JIM & MARZ".

Damn, I always miss out on free stuff!

Actually, I'm going away soon so it would have been a bit pointless sending it to me - you'd have had to wait a long time for some feedback!

Those who get the (protected @ Jim) DVD let's get a preliminary review going with one or two screen caps. Then we can all help with development.

are you gonna have those screens for each company?

if so, are you gonna do the same for demo groups?

is the menu on the beta the final menu system for demos?

likewise is that the same for game intros?

are you gonna two options at the beginning... [Game Intros/Endtros] / [Scene Demos] ?

can you put me in the credits some how???? not sure for what... but i'm sure you can make something up ;wink wink

I have not thought about the demo menus or designing them yet.

The menu on the one you have was chucked together in about 5mins, so is not final!!

There will be no options at all!!

There will be volumes released:

Flashback Games: Volume 1
Flashback Demos: Volume 1
Flashback Games: Volume 2

etc...

This is because there will undoubtedly be more than 1 DVD for each

Wow! fan-bloody-tastic!

I knew this was gonna be good but I was amazed at the professionalism.

I love the way the Flashback logo appears on the screen, very very cool!
and Im really proud to be the one to have named this beauty!

Had a few glitches playing SOTA. It freezes in a couple of places before continuing as normal. Im not sure if this is a player specific problem or a problem on the disc.

That small gripe aside I think its brilliant! I was looking forward to it before, but now....

HURRY UP

I checked each intro (Except JOES cuz it's 32mins) on each version I sent out for errors etc.. SOTA works fine here except a slight audio glitch :/

The Flashback intro was created by Antiriad and he has done a bloody great job

I will get back to it soon
