Amiga/Commodore Sponsorship
Does anyone know what years commodore sponsored Chelsea FC (UK).
I am after both the Commodore & Amiga sponsored shirts (I don't support chelsea, I just want the shirts ) |

Not to sure but I think it was something like '88 thru to the early/mid '90s.
Dont take my word for it though, I dont really get into soccer, rugby union is about the only ball game that interests me. |

Amiga sponsored football shirts have appeared semi-regularly on Ebay over the last year or so. The C= ones are quite a bit rarer, though, if Ebay is anything to judge by. Last edited by DrBong; 11 November 2002 at 14:16. |

Cool, it even has the Amiga logo!
I once had a shirt from FC Bavaria Munich, when they were sponsored by Commodore back in the 80's/early 90's. But that's long ago and of course I don't have the shirt anymore |

Funny as those teams are doing very well now. Chelsea, PSG, Bayer Munich all top teams in Europe.

This might be useful: http://www.chelseafc.com/classic-kits
Looks like 1989 - 1994 for Commodore generally and 1993 - 1994 for Amiga specifically. |

[off topic] : I fuc***g hate PSG. Not a top team. Just a prostitute who have a very rich pimp. Young club with a name looking like an insurance company. No history, nothing but money. [/off topic]
There is also AJ Auxerre, that was playing their european campaign with Commodore Sponsorship. The funny thing is that the former president of Commodore France went president of Playstation France. And so AJ Auxerre passed from Commodore to Playstation ! |
