Hooooo Final Fight AGA [2017-2019]

In the youtube playlist below all the songs i made for a possible Blitz Basic Final Fight port by Fabrizio Radica; made using milkytracker, almost all songs are two channels so to have two player sound FX together with the music.

I wanted to do a test on how my music version are actually fitting in the game and used the video editor to overlay musics on a longplay video (used the one by Ironclaw): this is the final result

Sounds great and plays nice too. The boss at 4:06 seems too easy on this! I haven't played the Amiga version but does he lack the swords and charging towards players in the Amiga version?

Saimon69: Excellent work with the mod, What is the name of that Electric synth instrument that they use at the start of the first level and only use it to play one note?

They use it in [ Show youtube player ]

not the same mate that is a sample on saimons tune but the t2 game has an fm synthesis chip it sounds like a generic fm electric guitar patch to me

the sample may or may not come from a similar source but it wouldnt be strange to find fm samples on amiga stuff from back then as those keyboards were all the rage

That's what I was guessing Bren. there would be a whole lot of synths able to be generated with that YM2151 chip including the tubular bell at the start of Atari arcade games (Marble Madness).

It seems all three machines have the YM2151 chip.
Atari System 1
Capcom CPS1
Williams/Midway Y Hardware

I thought you might have ripped it from the arcade game, 40k is massive, Thanks for checking it out.

YM2151 is a 4 operator FM chip and lots of crappy keyboards back then could do this and more it really is a very standard FM sound nothing out of the ordinary
