Indivision MK3 A4000D

Need some help.

Recently purchased the Indivision MKIII for my A4K. I cannot plug the adapter on the CIA chips as my board has them in sockets. But I cannot seem to get DblPal No Flicker working on the Indivision. Has anyone else been able to get this mode going?

Thanks

I don't have an Indi mk3, but here's a counter question: The indivision does the doubling and flicker fixing for you already, is there something that dblpal no flicker does for you that indivision does not?

In interlaced mode, the screen has artefacts. Just like the flicker fixer built into the A3000. DblPal No Flicker doesn't have the same artefacts.

Do you mean the combing effect on horizontal movement?

Ok, in that case I get it.

The config tool is complicated, but there is a logic to it. Have you read this documentation?

http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/Indivision_AGA_MK3/doc

How does your configuration look currently, can you take screenshots?

It is very confusing. I've managed to increase quality by increasing what resolution the MKIII outputs. Default was 800x600. I've increased it to 1280x1024 and it looks so much sharper. I'll post some pics up of my config tomorrow..

Thanks

If you select a VGA resolution the same as your panel's native resolution, it will give you the best results with regards to sharpness.

The devil is in the refresh rates, if you can't enable vsync, you will get stutters.

After mucking around for a while. I've managed to get workbench running in 800x600. Looks awesome. Yes the config tool looks complicated. Once I got my head around it. Every screen mode looks crisp and clear now. Thank you.
