Too bad I don't own an A1200 because games with interlaced screen resolution are rare. Would be ace on CRT monitor.
Nice editing. |

At the end of the day, i’m the one who coded the game, the game title is different and the graphics and game play are changed enough where i’m happy to take the risk.
If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. It’s not like i’m fucking Jordan Belfort ... if they want any proceeds from the game they can have it, it’s not like i didn’t try contacting them about it.. i did so several times with no response. No more talk of copyright, the game is changed enough. |

Is the "tearing" we see in the cars only due to the video?

OK... for evidence... and to clear this up.
Here's one of the two emails I sent over to Atari, I sent a further email over in late July... no response. Around October I then started to change the game title and add extras over and above what is in the arcade. Like I said, if they want the profits from the game, it will all be audited though itch.io and I'd be happy to forward on the proceeds to them. Having done two free ports previously and a "pay what you want" game... i hope no one in the community will begrudge me getting a little bit back for my efforts on this game. It's not like I need the money, it's more the principle. Graeme |

I've seen various posts about the interlace mode used. Now, I've actually ran TS beta/demo on my real A1200 and WinUAE, so I may be able to clear some small things up.
On my Philips CM8833 CRT, the game looks awesome. You can barely tell interlace is being used and you don't see any of the interlace artefacts you see in the trailer. When it comes to running on an LCD, it depends on make an model - some do this very well, some do it less nicely. My LG did a good job with again, not much of either interlace or artefacts to see. For WinUAE it rather depends on the interlace mode being used. I personally got best results with 'Double, Fields', but it'll probably depend on your screen and perhaps GPU. I did not try any filters. Found it to be perfectly playable though and nice to see a hires game for a change Edit: I tested some more with WinUAE and it looks even better with 'Remove Interlace Artifacts' and 'Double, Fields+' enabled Last edited by roondar; 29 April 2021 at 14:53. |

Thanks for your input Roondar, Yes I can say that the interlaced display will not be for everyone, this is why that I'll be putting up two versions of the game.. the paid full version and a time limited 10 minute version. This will be to allow you to test the game out for yourself and decide if you want to purchase it.... it is the best compromise I could think of. Also... while the game runs from Workbench it would be handy to also offer a WHD version, if someone wants to build one then please PM me and I can send you the files. PS. I can tell you that the game looks awesome on my LG 27" LCD, it totally interlaces the display On my page I'll display what version of the LG I have and what settings to use in UAE to get the best results. |

Wow this looks fucking fantastic.
Mcgeezer, is this the first game using this resolution? Because I don't recall any other. |

I’m not sure if it’s the first using hires interlaced... certainly not many do though. I know there’s a few use hires mode though - super skid marks does. |
