Got 1.1 working with EGA Commander Keen last night.

Speed was OK, trying to see if anymore tweaks can be made for speed

btw,

I tried on pcx 1.1 lure of the tempest,and dune 1 and worked
and are fully playlable
lure of the tempest works with sound...PC beep
I wonder if you need to install soundblaster drivers to make the soundblaster works...?? ..the documentation on PCX is limited and do not explain nothing
also I wonder which key combination quits the emulator? anyone?

it seems that pc dos games done up to 1992 or 1993 will works on PCX...
I calculate that a 040/40mhz (30 mips) will be on PCX like a 286 16mhz aprox...enough to play ton of dos games

I made some speed tests with PC-Task 4 and 060/50. It runs about equal 486@20 MHz or 386 DX @33-40 MHz in number crunching.

that's impossible....it seems you have made an incorrect test or used an incorrect benchmark proggy....

I once installed Win95 on PC-task. I got it to work with some tweaking but was dead slow. Win 3.11 worked okayish. This was on a 060.
Was just wondering why on earth you use this slow emulator?

For me I was just saying Great Escape runs well - Playable, but yes once I tried Win3.11 on my 030 -Fuck! its just so slow

Back in the dag I liked to do a bit of QBasic

Edit: They're in the /Commodore_Amiga/App/Archive/ folder.
Filenames DC-PCX10.LZX and DC-PCX11.LZX.

Hi.

About PC-Task, which is a very clean piece of software, i would like to know if anyone managed to use MIDI from inside PC-Task to a serial MIDI amiga interface and an MIDI expander connected there.
Could that be done with a software like SoftMPU or anything else that would link to Camd on the amiga side?
