Kickstart rom reading

Can an amiga 500+ 2.04 kick rom be read with a willem ?
The reason I ask is I have tried all day and had partial success with it reading what looks like every other byte.
I have read it as a 27c400.
I assume it may have read all the info but need compiling some how.
As you can see it show the word amigarom but with every other letter missing.
Any thoughts are advise.

Cheers Ted

I've no experience with Willem but from your image there is only one bit missing: words MSB (PIN29, Q15A-1) for a bytes swapped input.
Wait some hardware guru for a solution

One of my programmers is the Willem also and I haven't tried it yet. I am interested in what you find out too.

Data hasn't been read properly by the look of your pic.

Bit 7 of every second word is set high.

You get:
14 91 F9 CE F8 80 D2 80 00 80...

Should be:
14 11 F9 4E F8 00 D2 00 00 00...

No idea how the Willem is wired I'm afraid, so it could be D7 or D15 on the Kickstart not making good connection.

Regards,
Red

Great! Where did you find the software, and do you need an adapter with the 27C400?

Yes you need a dip42 adapter.
The software I googled willem software versions and tried a few until I got one that works.
