Xenon II CDTV version
Can get the game to upload but present with a message saying switch to joypad mode and press button A. Can't figure out how to do that.

There is a switch on the remote controller for mouse/joy, it's next to red power button.

Is there a way to switch using WinUae on CD32 emulation?

I have tested it on CDTV & CD32 in WinUAE and numpad key 5 works.

Thanks, works a treat. Also can play it on the Uae version for Xbox. Just have to use joypad 2 red button to start and play with joypad 2.
