Intermittant RF Output on A1200

I have had the lid off my A1200 to upgrade the Kickstart ROMs, and have noticed that the output to the TV via RF is a bit intermittant.

Sometimes it is outputting to channel 32, sometimes to 36. It is also sometimes dark, or bright and normal.

I had not used the Amiga for a long time, and noticed this before I upgraded the ROMs too. If I move the amiga around, it can change the result.

Can anyone speculate on what might be the problem - a loose chip or cable that might just need re-seating, or anything else I can check for?

cheers

Cold solder joints inside the RF modulator?

Anyway, ditch that and get an RGB Scart .. :-)
