AmiBlitz 3
Hi:
I've seen this site: http://classic-computing.de/forum3/i...d&postID=77575 I want to update IconMaker by James Stalham that uses ImageConverter by Thilo Köehler. ImageConverter has been updated and when I tried to use it (with FPU), then it complained about ab3support.library. I've searched for it and then I came across with AmiBlitz 3, and I could see it is included in his pack. Adding that library it is working perfect, with a better glow effect of the icons. I don't speak a word of german, so I'm wondering if that's freely distributable so I can use it in a next update of AKReal. I'm also interested in knowing a bit more about what AmiBlitz 3 is all about. Last edited by Retrofan; 15 December 2016 at 23:24. |

AmiBlitz 3 is the open source (and much developed) reincarnation of Blitz Basic 2. Thilo Koehler is one of the main maintainers of it, and he (and others) have done a great job of updating and improving Blitz Basic. You can read more about it at www.amiblitz.de.
As for the library being freely distributable, I couldn't be sure but I would expect it's not a big deal since AB3 itself is open source. There's a forum on amiblitz.de that has a Q&A section (English is allowed), maybe ask there. |
