Dyter-07 working version

Hi,

Any chance for a 100% version of this little known quirky shooter called Dyter-07 (1990) (reLINE) ? StingRay considered fixing it a few years ago, check his post here. Unknown to me until recently, I tried the original on my 1 MB A500, and I must say it's a quite pleasant fast-paced romp.

Which version, the 2 disk MFM + code sheet or the 1 disk ADOS + code sheet?

Maybe I should clarify, I've noticed the game was mentioned in the "The bad cracks / 100% working games" thread, which means it wasn't cracked properly back in the days (apparently, it's a tricky one). Answer to your question is the coder who would tackle this task would base his version on the IPF to start anew. In my book, less floppy disks is better, but if that version of his needs two disks, I won't complain.

Does this work too fast? Dyter-07 (1990)(reLINE)[cr PNA][t +1 PNA].adf ?

It seems to run perfect at my end.

I would argue it just "deserves" to be properly cracked, assuming what was mentioned in that above mentioned thread in 2008 is true. Check StingRay assumption here. Can you complete the game, no glitch, no nothing ?

I played the first level without any issues.. But if they say its glitched then its glitched I guess. Maybe remind Stingray then and see if its possible to fix?

It crashes at the end due to the checksums not removed.

I've uploaded to The Zone an ADF created from the ADOS version from IPF #0678 + the code sheet so at least you can play until it gets a proper crack!

There is no 'official' IPF of the 2 Disk MFM version but I have IPF's of my dump created with disk-utilities as Keir kindly supported it I also sent my dump to Denis a while ago to create IPF's for Stingray.

Ah, so that's where the bottleneck is , as per this game, not on the account of Sting being too busy. What are the codes for ?

It's asked for at the end of one of the levels I think, not when loading the game!

Not only at the end. Information about the protection can be found in the ReadMe of the WHDLoad patch. Definitely one of the better protected Amiga games.

I've just played the Paranoimia 1 disk crack until completion and it works all the way through.

The Tristar 2 disk version is a joke, its got a host of files missing which is why it doesn't get past the boss on Level 1 because its searching for a file it won't find.

Admittedly with the Paranoimia crack I used the trainer and cheat mode to give myself everlasting energy and full weapons, but I was able to play it to completion.

Obviously as far as A1200 goes, it probably doesn't, but I playtested on the configuration that applies to when the game was released.

Definitely one of the best Amiga games of 1990. I used to have the original discs of the game, but sadly not the code sheet. It is in color as another copy protection measure. Copy machines (Xerox) where already popular in the early 1990-ies, but they were mostly black and white (color was terribly expensive),. So, pirates either had to write down each color, or use color pencils (also time consuming).

Finally after 30 years I managed to complete the game:

Thanks for the Code sheet.

Please provide a link or upload the Paranoimia version you have been playing to The Zone. All Paranoimia versions of the game I have checked are not cracked properly.
