Question Amiga Joystick & Mouse Port Spacing ?

Hi all, I am currently designing a batch of joystick / mouse switch boards (so there is no need to swap connectors) and wondering if the A1200 and big box models all have the exact same physical spacing of the two 9 pin D sockets as the A500 has, if anyone can check please let me know

Well, I have a switcher that fits the 500 and 1200
not the 600 --- without port extensions.

Thanks, yes the 600 is different thanks for confirmation, I hope the big box models also have the same spacing, but main target was 500 and 1200

Why does it need access to both ports? Wouldnt the mouse port alone breakout into a double switch box?

No it needs both, the adapter also includes a PS/2 mouse interface so you can plug in a mouse and two joysticks at the same time, and not have to swap the cables as both ports are available 0 and 1.
