Turrican II level editor
After writing a level viewer for Turrican II some years ago, I decided to write a level editor for it too. It is bare-bones but you can edit all level tiles and entity placement for all levels.
See [ Show youtube player ] for a playthrough of a modified first level. Download: https://github.com/GitExl/Turrican2E...ditor-1.0.1.7z GitHub repository: https://github.com/GitExl/Turrican2Editor Make sure to read the ReadMe to learn how to actually use the editor, and how to play your modified levels. Turrican II CDTV files are required, which can be copied from any disc or disc image. Last edited by Exl; 18 March 2017 at 12:25. |

I would like to thank so much for your work, you made a years old dream come true. I cant wait to get my fingers on it and play the FIRST OWN LEVELS ON MY AMIGA! Danilo from Germany |

That's a great achievement!
Ok, now time to design some new levels. Exl had created a superfrog level editor but AFAIR no new levels have been made. Designing levels isn't so easy, and it takes time! Same goes for the excellent Chaos Engine level editor. So far no full game level set has been remade. So don't be too impatient. I'm sure a lot of ppl have great level ideas though (sorry to spoil your joy hehe) |

now if all EAB users with "turrican" in their pseudo create 1 level, we'll have a full level set in a few days.
Nice work, once again! I think there's a thread about games with level editors (custom or original), and if not someone should start one. |

Wow. Awesome job. Is it possible to create more level editors to other games? Giana sisters. If so call it Giana Sisters Maker

Mind you I don't expect any real level (sets) to come out of this. But I image it's at least fun to toy around with modifying some levels.

A Turrican 2,5 would be better, than many Backbone games. Hopefully there will be someone...

I modified the first level, saved and it worked great on Amiga. But now when I want to open game again in editor, it does not load. What could be wrong?
