A Piccy Challenge

The first part of this is easy, but I want someone to tell me what Amiga game my avatar picture is from, and what it represents in the game. Hopefully nobody has an original manual of this game, and if you do, try to guess without looking! Anyway this is the first test to see how many of you have any original software.

Don't have the faintest idea, and I have lots of original software.

Perhaps a clue? Genre? Year? Sounds like? Number of syllables?

I suspect everbody who likes Amigas has played this game. I don't think I could give any helpful clue without making it too easy. I could tell you the syllables or how many words but I don't think it would help.
Maybe you can't guess because you're not seeing the picture correctly? It should look like two silver rectangles with two connecting lines, a bit like this but thinner: ||=||

I'm not sure if this will work, but in the game I'm on about this symbol is one better than the one under my name. See if you can name this one too. If no image appears forgive me and you'll have to do without!

Since the image didn't work, here is a different clue. There other symbols like the one under my name in the game, the first half are gold and the second half, like the one as my avatar, are silver. They all represent something different, and something(s) in the game progress through the symbols.

Yes Cannon Fodder Yes promotions but be more specific.

The link almost tells you what that picture was of but I don't think you can see it

Yes they are medals. They each represent a Rank.

I've got to go for now so I'll check back later, give you some time to work it out.

It's the medal you get for being promoted from normal Nerd to Ubernerd.

. This is might actually be impossible without owning the manual for the game, since I don't think the symbols are ever actually named, and I can't be bothered to load it up and find out. Looks like youre gonna need to have an original copy or some sort of knowledge of military badges to know.
Somebody must have the original game? :eek
