Exclamation Wanted: A4000 D Psu

I am looking for an original 4000 PSU for my desktop 4000...
anyone has one for sale?
ps. even the metal shell will do, I hacked the shell from mine to do a useless atx psu mod... I still have the insides that worked fine!
thanks!

I've got two spare ones here... but the make horrible noises (need new fans) and are full of dust... if you have no luck (and if I can find them) I may be pursuaded to sell.

I've no idea... they were pulled from dead A4000's with unrepairable battery damage.

What I noticed was unusual is that there are at least 3x different makes of A4k PSU.

the 2nd psu I got is made by Lite-ON and is 151.6W instead of the 145W on my other A4000 that has a yellow label...

Are the 4000 psu's custom made or something? Shame you can't make one out of a Peecee ATX jobbie

I think quietpc.com do some fancy fanless jobbies... would be nice and quiet

the problem is not the converter, but the low quality (and tolerance of PC hardware) of current atx psu's... they just fail to deviver above +4.86v at the +5v line... amiga just won't work with 4.85 and below.
