Awesome (Psygnosis)

Hello,

Any ideas why Awesome wont load?

Stock Amiga 500 in WinUAE (512 Chip, 512k slow, 1.3 ROM, OCS) and using the 4 disk version 'Awesome (1990)(Psygnosis)(Disk 1 of 4)(Intro 1)[cr CLS]'

Wont load the intro sequence, goes past the cracktro, reads one track then screen flashes red, no guru just sits there and does nothing.

I know I dont need the intro just want it for old times / nostalgia reasons.

Works fine here using the 'most common' A500 quickstart. You need to change to disk 2 of 4 when the screen flashes and press the fire button.

Ohhh. I get it - many thanks!!

EDIT: I was also at turbo emulation speed for the disk drive which meant it didn't work too.

Never knew there was a 4 disk version, one I had was 3 disk.

The cracked version with the intro has four disks. Looks like the intro doesn't fit on one standard 880k disk.

Ah, that explains it. I had all original Psygnosis games in big boxes.
