SD Adapter LED problem

I recently got one of these SD HDD adapters and it works great, the only problem is the hard disk LED is now constantly on and doesn't flicker at all. Would there be any way to fix this?

Could this be the mod you are referring to, though it is a fix for cfs rather than sd cards perhaps the principle would be that same?

No i've definitely seen it done on those SD adapters (i have one but thought it was too much hassle to get someone to mod it for me).
