Cheap A1200/A600 internal 44-pin CF adapters

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=110158090878

$5 each including postage & packaging.

Obviously I am not the vendor. Just sharing with everyone.

These are the 44 pin variant with the right angle female connector that just plug in directly.

WarningThey are physically not compatible with the NedoPC 8Mbyte Fast RAM upgrade.

You need one of these and a cable.

Do you foresee any issues with these CF adaptors and the Indivision a1200 SD/FF?

looks like the Indivision would require that a 44pin cable be attached to the IDE header. Making these particular FEMALE CF adaptors unusable. Need to look for 44pin MALE CF adaptors.

I wonder if the HDD LED works with this one, or if a mod is necessary?

I think it might be ok. The NedoPC is very high because it is 2x height of normal cards because of it's stand-off design.

I doubt the Indivision AGA 1200 is anywhere near as high. Still it will be touch and go. I'd like to see some better photographs in profile first. If in doubt, get the other type.

For a 44 male adapter I would buy this from Dealextreme ($2.82)

And if you don't have a CF card reader on your PC, this plus WinUAE is the perfect companion to copy the files to the card.

For CF cards I recommend the Leisurestore ones:

2GB for 7€

4GB for 10€

I have the 2GB one (I'm waiting for a 4GB card for my A1200) and the tested speed on my PC was 11 MB/s reading 5.5 MB/s writing. That's more than enough for an Amiga
