Problem with Cannon Fodder cheats

So in the Save Game screen I type "JOOLS" and the cheats activation message appear. However, during gameplay, when typing "wellhard" my soldiers don't become invincible, they keep on dying as if cheat mode is not active?

Since I'm stuck on Mission 8, I would like to use the cheats to get passed it..way too difficult and life's too short.

I think JOOLS should increase ranks, not activate cheats. Try different dump from different cracker.

Couldn't find anything useful (ADF). I guess I'm gonna have to do it without cheats, the hard way..

^^Yeah I know about that but the disk 2 doesn't seem to work on my Amiga1200..meh..

I have completed Mission 8 on my own. I am so proud of myself right now!

Mission 8 is hard but easy when you know how. Mission 9 is way harder, because it involves random actions from the turrets.

Sorry to necro this old post. I'm playing the WHDLoad version on an emulated A1200 in WinUAE (i.e no trainer available). Cheats don't work for me either and neither does entering JOOLS on the Save screen. I can only get as far as Mission 10 Phase 5 (after loosing all but one trooper in Phase 4 - including Jools, Jops and RJ who I'd got this far!) and cannot, with any reasonable effort get beyond even the first five seconds of the start since there's a f***king turret right there at the begining which blows everyone up!

you have to move right away as soon as you get the control on screen.
