Jumpdisks and Hisoft Basic 2 manual

Hi,

I'm looking for ADF's of Jumpdisks or a source for back issues. Jumpdisk was a monthly disk magazine published by Richard Ramela. I even tried to track him down after all these years with no luck.

I'm also looking for Hisoft Basic 2 info. If not the whole manual at least a quick-reference type of card or sheet.

Thanks.

Uploaded a couple of old Jumpdisks to the zone for you.
November87, and July90.
Think I may have a few more on some old HD's, will have a look on the weekend for you.
Cheers,
Red

Much thanks. I didn't have 11-87 and my 7-90 had errors. Here's a list of what I have and still want (especially the 92 & 93 issues). If anyone else has any interest in these old relics I can start putting them in the Zone a few at a time.

have
-------
10 & 12 86
11 & 12 87
4 to 12 88
all 89
all 90
all 91
1 92

PD disk 1
PD disk 2
PD list
Sampler
4-88 Special
10-88 Special
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

want
-------
8,9,11 86
1 to 10 87
1,2,3 88
2 to 12 92
all 93
all 94

......
No probs.

I, for one, would be keen on seeing some of your old Jumpdisks.

Just uploaded another to the zone.
Not quite sure what issue it is, just says Jumpdisk "J".
Most of the files on the disk are dated Nov86.
Ignore it if you have it already.

If you are interested in other old diskmags, let me know coz I have quite a few from the early years.

Cheers,
Red

I uploaded a few to the Zone, starting with the 86 & 87 issues I had. I'll add more later when I have time. Getting them to the PC takes FOREVER using TransDisk & null-modem cable. I tried some Parallel schemes but they don't like WinXP.

"mark_k" and others wrote up some great tips in my other post - "New 1200, old Jumpdisks" - , for getting something like these to run on a 1200 or on any Amiga as an ADF in a virtual drive. Ultimately, though, the earlier Jumpdisks are so tied to the original models that they're going to do best on a real or emulated 1000/500/2000 with WB1.3, OCS, and AmigaBasic.

To others: if you check out these early issues, don't be put off by how crude they are. They were pretty rough. They start getting a lot better with the '88 issues.
