Roger Dean Artwork?
This guy was responsible for a lot of the posters and stuff contained in original psygnosis games... I still have some of the posters from Obliterator and Shadow of the Beast lying around.... actually he designed the psygnosis logo!
Anyone else a fan of his stuff, or know of any links on the web? After doing a quick google I found this... I think by the looks of the stuff it's the same guy http://rogerdean.com/store/product_i...d3d2b46e383cf1 also a fan site here http://www.rock.co.za/files/roger.html has plenty of links too. But I'd love to find a collection of all his amiga contributions somewhere. |

I thought that name sounded familiar
I wonder if he also designed the Psygnosis logo too, the owl that is... Ah, I see another familiar piece of artwork too, from a classic Yes album cover |

Yeah I like Dean's work, especially the Psygnosis stuff. My fave Amiga box related artist though is Simon Bisley who was responsible for the Gods and Cadaver the payoff boxes.

Dean's been around a long time. He was the guy who did all the artwork for all of the "Yes" album covers years ago. Take a look at any of those and you'll recognize his style.

Roger Dean had a very distinctive style. My faves were Celal Candemiroglu (Turrican artwork and more) and Oliver Frey (all Thalamus artwork, including that of our own titles Venomwing and The Digitial Mugician).
