Parnet Cable between Amiga and PC

Hi there,

I saw some programs on aminet for a network between a miggy and pc by parallel port.
Is the parnet cable between amiga and pc wired 1 : 1 ?

I don't need any other network solutions. The above option would do it for me..

Nope, the cable is NOT 1:1, check out The Hardware Book for the details of how to build them, and any other cable you'll ever need!

Sorry mate, confused laplink with parnet,

You're quite right, parnet is 1:1 match and I'm an ideot... should take my own advice before opening mouth

Yes the parnet cable is Amiga:Amiga only AKAIK.

The laplink cable is the one you need for PC to Amiga x-fers, I'm using PC to Ami s/w and the cable that came with it works with laplink so...
