Unhappy File Transfer Help needed.

Hello everyone I'm new to this site and hope some of you can help me with an annoying problem I recently tried out an amiga emulator and to be honest did not like it. I much prefer to use a real amiga.
So i got out My amiga discovered to my horror some of my favorite games no longer worked ( possibly due to being the loft for 13 years ) so i bought a copy of amiga forever and used amiga explorer to connect my pc to the amiga which worked like a charm and set about transfering my adf games to the amiga 1200 i have tried using adf2disk, adfblitzer, and tracktool all of which on reading the documentation appeared to be quite straight forward, and they did not work !!!!! the amiga i am using does not have a HDD so i am reliant on disks i do still have a small amount of blank 720k amiga disks.

So finally my question is how in gods name to i get the adf to write to a formatted amiga disk because all the programes i have obtained appear to need a HDD.

Tip for cleaning the yellowing from your amiga's use johnsons baby wipes they restored My A1200 and A500 cases back to mint condition !

Cheers

Nick

You can use Amiga Explorer to transfer ADFs directly to floppy disk. In the Amiga Explorer window every drive is shown twice: once as a directory and once as an ADF image. If you drag your downloaded ADF image over the DF0.ADF entry in Amiga Explorer, it will be written directly to the disk.

not in my opinion,
ive had problems with it from day 1 ,
i would advise anyone that is thinking of using it to think about it, and buy a real amiga,
but that is my opinion.

this is true, but the real amiga is a lot less messing around, and there is a lot more available to read about the real amiga .
just try looking for instructions for winuae. (and good luck)

WinUAE is a lot easier to use than a real Amiga in my opinion.

You have very little restrictions in comparison to the real thing.

You're doing it wrong

if it is a lot easyer than a real amiga, then why wont it find the cf cards, when my 1200 will,
im doing everything that should be done,
i suppose it brings up the old argument, emulator or real amiga,
hardware against software anyday ,
