Help on installing Space Hulk on HD

First off my Hardware.

Commodore A2000 with 512K + 512K and 2MB fast RAM. GVP Controller with SCSI2SD 1GB card and 2 partition. DH0 for OS 3.1 – DH1 for the software - NTSC.

I installed the WHDload of the game, but it requires 1MB chip ram.

I used Total Commander to extract the ADFs and copied those. First in one drawer and then in each separate drawers named exactly like the disks (Hulk_1 / Hulk_2 / Hulk3) Disk #1 will load but it can find disk #3. I palce the “Assigned” in my start-up sequence, but that also does not seem to help.

To note that the game will work just fine from diskettes with a large number of swapping.

I just wonder if anyone has any idea on how to solve this.

You can try the Aminet patch: http://aminet.net/package/game/patch/SpaceHulkToHD or JST install: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1m54...ew?usp=sharing

Thank you for the links which I will try next.

I suppose my follow up question is - if the game on diskette plays on 512K of chip RAM, why the HD install needs 1MB of chip RAM? Just curiosity at this point.

In addition to extracting the ADF and copying that to HD, I tried 5 different variants of installation but no luck.
The SpaceHulkToHD - (which seems to be another version by Andre Barton) goes past the introduction sequence and then halts.

Possibly this is a good reason the get a gotek.
