After a long hiatus in participating, I am coming back.
My attempt on Desert Strike - I really love this game. I made a screenshot at the beginning of the second mission. Unfortunatelly during the second mission the game crashed so this is the only screen I have so far. I'll try to give it another go this week. I guess my valid score would be 794800. |

A note: In the Wings Of Death title music, it says "Meet your doom".

Mailman: Good to see you.
For this round, we are also adding your power and fuel. You can take a screengrab at any point (best to take it with 1 life remaining) up to the start of mission 3, whereupon you can take a screengrab there and your lives will also be counted. So your score is 794800 + 600 + 100 = 795500 Harry I thought it said Wings of Doom? I might have to listen again... |

I posted perhaps my final score in Desert Strike, which should be easy to beat for those reaching level 2.
John, ED left as you came back, so you didnt really go up against him for a championship. When ED209 was winning, it was my turn to win the championship, having been placed 3rd, 3rd and 2nd respectively. It was a very close battle sometimes between me and him in 2013, as we were both on top form in those days. I finished the season 16 points behind him, having been in a battle with premisseth at the start of the year, which took away vital points. 2014 could have been Harrys or capehorns year. I was battling with Harry and capehorn, and we all got high points that year, but were tripping over each other - letting ED get away. I finished 3rd behind cape. 2015 could have been ChrisN82's year. He was slowed up by some good performances early on by capehorn and Harry, which let ED get away by 48 points. 2016 could have been LinesMachines year. He seemed to be on top form and took it down to ED. There was 1 point between them by round 11, but Lines fumbled the Lemmings round, letting ED slip ahead by 22 points in the end. That was the last year ED won. 2017, John won without much challenge by 89 points. 2018, John and Linesmachine slowed each other up, letting Rexsu win by 69 points. 2019, the battle between John and Rexsu was slowed down (literally) by malko, who was played games at minimal frame rates in order to beat them. John lost out to Rexsu only by 14 points. 2020, John lead from the start, won by at least 77 points. I havent put much effort in to this year, and I think we have all been casual players, with nobody really showing any determination to be the best outside of yourself. We are all winners here except for you. If you hadnt played and recorded all of your footage slow motion, used trainers and secret codes to train, submitted scores using a hacked high score table, having the mods arguing against each other and generally moaning about the rules in every round, maybe I would be a bit more forgiving. But you cant play Golf or Worthy at 10FPS and expect us not to care or notice. This is a competition, not a joy ride, and those who cant play fair get the boot.

Mailman - Great, thanks for lighting up the tables. I added your power and fuel bonus, so the difference wasnt quite as close as it first looked. As they say, you win some, you lose some. Congrats.
