The fact that the majority of games were written for A500's with 1mb RAM. I always wonder what a developer like Rainbow Arts would have achieved if they'd had better hardware to work with.

That Commodore went for the cheaper 68020 than the more competitive 68030 processor in the A1200. Things could have been so different then. Magic Carpet may never have been cancelled.

The limitation of the A1200.
Should have been released with a 68030, 25Mhz, an internal HD, more sounds channel and better sprite management and a bit earlier. (Easy to say, I know ) |

Choosing an Amiga.
All the computer geeks at my school chose an Atari STe and I was the "outcast". There was no Amiga programming scene at school, just kids swapping copied games. The Atari ST scene at school were exchanging programming techniques, writing their own demo's and menus in assembler. Part of a big scene group, Adrenaline UK and their own team just in our school called Safari. I'm pretty sure I would have enjoyed my 16-bit life more had I chose an STe. 1. Waiting too long to get into Amiga Coding.
2. Not learning 68k ASM when I should of 3. 2MB Chip Limit 4. Kickstart ROM's not being Open Source. Sadly for my formative years, living in Norfolk there was Nor-folking programming scene at all... Just me and my friend Smiffy |

I should stole disks from abandoned Amiga game shop. It's empty for 17 years.

The missed opportunity with the Amiga - lack of understanding the possibilities and all those wasted ideas & resources!
And many of those US Gold ports |
