Hi,
I just wanted to tell everybody that DMS files with more than 18 characters aren't possible to use in WinUAE. That's not a bug, but a limitation. I tell you in order to prevent "bug reports" that DMS files aren't working properly in WinUAE. ![]() You just have to RENAME the file to something equal or less than 18 characters in total, and you don't have problems. Example: Fantasy Manager-1.DMS is NOT possible because: 7 + 1 (space) + 9 + 4 (dot + dms) = 21 characters! Rename it to FantasyMgr-1.dms and it works fine! FYI. |

Many thanks for the info. I was wondering why I couldn't use most of my DMS files. I hadn't submitted it though

Glad I could help out!
OK, so just report back if it works now after reducing the length of the filename. |
