Heimdall WHDLoad Save Prob

I played this game earlier and gathered up some nice new weapons etc and then saved my game.

When I reloaded the game in later it appeared to load but none of my items came up.
It seems to load as it gives me the characters I chose but it hasnt saved the islands I have visited OR my goodies.

Im not that used to using WHDload so is there some trick to saving?

When I selected 'save' it asked for a blank disk to be inserted into df0: but because its WHD I assumed it would just save ok anyway, so I clicked 'ok' and it said 'game saved'.

Forgive my stupidness but could you point out where Im going wrong.

If you want to save to HD you need to use the CUSTOM1 Tooltype to specify an alternate save location on the HD .... else you have to insert a save disk in df0:
