Tapatalk access has stopped working
Hello,
It appears as though something changed with Tapatalk access to EAB. When I try to go into the EAB group in Tapatalk, it errors out with the following: Network error, please try again later (get_config) I am still getting notifications on my Android phone when subscribed topics are updated, but cannot read the articles. It has been working fine for years but in the past week or two I have not been able to connect. Other tapatalk groups still work, so it is something to do with EAB I suspect. Dave |

Yep, maybe the full https is not compatible with tapatalk.
How many EAB's member are still using it ? Tapatalk users, speak ! because I will just trash it if you are less than 10 |

Tapatalk user here!
It works fine for me now. Not the end of the world if support is removed. |

Yes, support for it should be removed, I am sick of seeing the spam it attaches to every post.

Support for it shouldn't be removed imo, it's a perfect way to catch up with the forum when you're on mobile.

Great to know it was not my phone/application problem! I was beginning to wonder why this was happening and even updated and reinstalled Tapatalk to no avail.
@RCK - Tapatalk user here too! It makes accessing the forum much easier on the mobile, unless there is an alternative application other than phone browser. |

@empardopo:
Yes, I can tell by the spammy crap that it has appended to your post, thus perfectly illustrating my point. |

The signature topic is not new, see Remove annoying Tapatalk sigs? It even got its own rule. Using the signature can easily be switched off in the settings.
Very curious why Tapatalk seems to still be working for some users..? Weird.. |

But why would any forum want to support something that has user-hostile defaults, dark patterns, whatever you want to call them? The fact a rule exists does not mean it is not being regularly broken, and the problem is caused by deliberate design decisions made by the programmer.

I'm also a Tapatalk user and the sigs can be easily removed on the app.
Unfortunately continues not to work here. Other forums work without problems. |

I change nothing to the tapatalk plugin, but as we have at least 9 users of it, I will look to update the plugin, maybe it will fix those occasional errors
