Starglider Cassette Tape

Hi,

Just remembering back a little and I remembered that I got a cassette tape with my copy of starglider back in the day, and was wondering if there is an mp3 (or any other format) version of the song that came with it.

It's just a nostalgia trip really, would like to listen to it again.

Someone should rip it for CAPS

Do you mean Starglider 1 or 2? I have the Starglider 2 cassette, but nothing to play it on

I have an MP3 of the ST version I did a while back................in the zone.

I bought Starglider for the spectrum, just after I got my 128K. Also had it for the ST.

Can't remember what the speccy 128K music was like.

Yes please!

Just a few things needed, which seems to be a bit of a problem so far.

1) A good stereo to play it on
2) A good sound card (with isolated recording line thing to avoid chipset hiss on sampling)
3) The original WAV or a FLAC

We'll probably distribute them as Musepack and maybe MP3/Ogg - but we want to get an archival quality version too.

We got a kind of estimate that there were about 50 games that included audio tape. I do have some myself (both of the above and some others like Knights of the Crystalion) however I have neither the stereo, nor the decent sound card to give them justice.

Actually, we did find somebody who said they would do them a while back when I was researching audio file formats. I'll have to get back on that at some point...

I have a tape to rip, too. A small tutorial would be nice.

Well I don't have the tape but I have a sounblaster live 5.1 platinum card with the IR drive on the front and all the correct audio inputs. I also have a friend with a pretty decent tape seperate.

However, I have no tapes! wohooh!
