Problem with PCMCIA NIC
Hi;
I recently acquired a Linksys HL100 10/100 Fast Ethernet Adaptor (I'm pretty sure that's the model number), and when I plug it into my A1200's PCMCIA slot, the computer freezes rock solid. Is this a problem with the A1200 or the card? It was not listed as incompatible in the list provided with the cnet.device. Dan |

you need something to make it work
Hello,
When I bought my first PCMCIA network card, I received from eyetech a square board that fits up to GAYLE chip (If I remember well). Check it, because without it you will never get it work. Last edited by dir_marillion; 18 December 2007 at 13:19. |

The Linksys EtherFast 10/100 is a pure 32Bit card and therefor wont work in any Amiga !!!

That's what I though. The person who lent it to me insisted it's 16 bit.
