Must say that I'm also against increasing the size of avatars. The current size is definitely adequate IMHO
Totally agree with what RCK perceived as possibly being an issue. Also Marco's post #172 couldn't have explained better how I personally see / feel an avatar's "purpose" is. |

just as a test, i thought i'd have a look at how the avatars from Bloodwych looked on 64x64 ... since it doesnt look that bad, i'm not that bothered by it being made larger.
also - i second Magno Boots' kudos to the animgif above. although i still think animated avatars and pointless here. |

I am all for a bigger avatar size but never animated. A bigger size wont affect speeds much and a couple of extra kb shouldn't hurt rck's bandwidth too much.

I'm not for animated avatars, I think it would be too distracting. And I don't mind if size is increased.
