Open game folder
A lot of games contains in his folder useful stuff like cheats, walkthrougs, maps, etc.
WinUAE should have a method to open this folder and with the recent addition of the boxart window, i think this can be done "easily". Changing the behaviour of one of the mouse buttons in this window (e.g. right clicking in the boxart) can open a windows explorer (the path is the path of the boxart). I think this solution is "cheap & effective", no need of new buttons, no changes in the main GUI. Only a new function useful and an WinUAE more user-friendly. |

I am not going to change button operations but something like double clicking title bar or something less unexpected can do it

If you select a new image you can right click a folder in the game folder, open it in a new window and navigate one up in the hierarchy. Thats the fastest way I know to do it atm...

Sorry, I forgot..
Done now but probably not something you expected or wanted.. Added extra menu item to Windows system menu. Right click window title bar to open the menu. |

Not something that I'd ever use but that's just me... tested anyway.
You mean; right-click on the title bar of the "Box Art" panel and then select "Open Game Folder" (which obviously opens "Windows Explorer" in the configuration's Game Folder): ![]() Guess it may be useful for some and quicker than having to pressing <Windows Key> + <E> and then navigating to the required path ![]() |

Yes.
If game folder has something important that user should see/open, it probably should be have some specific identifier and only in this case winuae should show some extra button or something. (If it is really needed) |

I believe this request probably came about from OsabaKoldo using my collection and wanting a quick / easy way to view the following... sorry...
Quote:
a) .TXT files (this is the overwhelming majority). b) .PDF files. c) .DOC files. d) .JPG files. e) .PNG files. Edit: regarding .PNG files in <gamedirs>; if you were going to setup some kind of recognition / buttons you would want to exclude "___SShot.png" and "___Title.png" from being picked up.
