No, no chance to emulate this cool effect : vertical change of resolution. at right, The scrolltext is in HiRes. At left, LoRes is used.
It appear also at the end of the game (scrolltext+pictures)
and in the Menu of the demo Runaway/2000ad

if you know others prods using it, let know us

Search is your friend.

Why not? It is already emulated (partially) but it is not worth the trouble just for one or two programs..

Correction: It will be fixed in future because bug (or more like missing feature) causing the black bar in Disposable Hero also affects other programs.

As far as I can see running this game, "scrolltext is in HiRes. At left, LoRes is used" it's not yet been implemented in latest WUAE 1.4.5 (and 1.4.6b2)... or do I have to set-up a special config?

Yep, I get the same problem with the title screen as hoborg in post #1 above. I'm using the CD32 version with WinUAE 1.4.6 Beta 2.

Lores/hires mixing has been done long time ago. (usually it is good idea to search/browse beta changelogs. DH issue has been mentioned multiple times..)

Problem is basically same as here: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=20007 (first screenshot)

Fix is "simple" but it means major changes, too easy to break everything else and need to do it without slowing down "normal" programs..

what do you mean by major changes, what are the main problems you'll encounter to implement lores-hires mix ?

Just checked with 1.5.0 Beta 22, and the problem is still there. Was it supposed to be fixed? I can't remember!
