Recently got an Atari STacy project and I am looking to add one of these to it. The hard drive is dead, not sure if the SCSI controller works.
Looking at the STacy schematics the pins from the DB19 on the rear of the computer are replicated on a 30 pin header inside (Which is where the HDD controller plugs into I'm sure.) On top of this it has +5 and GND available, so it should be possible to do a really clean install of a ACSI2SD inside the STacy. Schematics are here: https://www.gossuin.be/images/schemasatari/STACY.pdf Page 8, J6 and J11 (read as DMA port.) |

So, anybody could advise how to make your own hdd images and put games on them? Is this at all possible in some not very complicated way?

Modify the one you have (once deployed), and read the unit with Win32diskimager in order to create the image file. It is easy due to the DOS/Windows compatible nature of the disk partition. Or use your preferred image creator software |

Ive bought this device elsewhere, but the seller is the same, so i would like to recommend it without any doubt to everyone else.
Awesome lowcost device and currently faster than a ultra satan and that one costs around 100 euros with shipping. A St with a hard disk via sd card, is out of this world, floppies will quickly become a thing of the past Also awesome support from masteries, he is always ready to help. @masteries Thank you so much and keep up the good work. |

This sounds fantastic. I'd like a unit, with postage to the USA.
Thanks! - Alex |
