WB3.1 for A600????

Hi, I googled to see which was the highest WB I could install on my A600 and on a wiki site it said 2.1 was the highest. But the other day I just tried a CF card that had 3.1 installed and it booted up fine. Is there some reason that I shouldn't use 3.1 on a A600? My kickstart revision is 37.350

It will boot up but there are some things missing in the Rom therefore some functionality will not work.

You can however upgrade your Rom to 3.1 and then you can use it without issue, in fact you can even use OS3.5/3.9 if you get an Accelerator such as the ACA630

OK thanks for the reply, I thought it must have been something like that.

I have two A600's and I thought I will sell one with the CF card fitted, I just wanted to install the latest WB for the ROM it has fitted

Take a look at Classic Workbench GAAE

http://classicwb.abime.net/classicweb/gaaepics.htm

It's Workbench 2.1 with all the most useful app's, etc

If Green's not your thing, you can get the Blue edition
