Are there any GoDrive alternatives?
I was after a GoDrive but they don't seem to be available at the moment. The reason I liked this option is that it is external (keeping the internal drive), fairly simply to install and has a drive selector switch built in. I don't like the external Gotek options as they require a separate switch button with nowhere really to install it. So ends up being a messy solution.
Are there any GoDrive alternatives that are an all in one external solution with as clean an installation? I don't want any soldering or modding of the original case. My A500 won't be here until next week so this may all change if the internal floppy drive doesn't work but for now I am assuming it does and looking at best external option. Edit: Although I have now read that not games will boot from an external drive so that complicates things. Wow, owning an Amiga in 2024 is so complicated I haven't even got to plugging into HDMI yet (although I do have a CRT for now) Last edited by Fuzzball; 23 June 2024 at 12:18. |
