GUI debugger thread hanging on reentry

I have an inconsistent bug that started happening a few months ago. Sometimes, when opening and closing the GUI debugger (shift+f12) two or more times, it hangs the input for the GUI debugger window. I can't type anything, and I can't close it unless closing using task manager.
If I close the GUI debugger process, WinUAE resumes as if nothing was wrong, but the GUI debugger process will break again if I reopen it.

It *seems* that when I reboot my PC, the problem goes away for a little while - but it may just have been luck. I know that doesn't make sense to me.

This happens both with 32 and 64-bit versions of WinUAE 4.4.0 and with older versions (not sure how far back it goes). The strange part is that it seemed to start without me updating WinUAE, so there may be some external factor involved that I can't think of.

Has anyone else experienced this? if so, what did you do?

GUI debugger is unsupported. It was not done by me and I have never used it. Nothing will happen until there is some nice to use multi-window framework (like used in visual studio)

Yeah, I remember the GUI debugger is not supported by you, but I was wondering if someone else had experienced this, and had found any workarounds.

I appreciate everything you do for the community, Toni, thank you!
