Floppy disk cleaner .adf
Hello folks,
Here's a little tip I'd like to share with you! For some time now I've been looking for a 3.5" floppy disk cleaner, and I just discovered that you can simply download one as a .adf file and burn it on a disk. I've tried it on my A1200 unit and both of my A500's, and it works really well. It even comes with cleaning fluid, so you don't have to put anything on it before use. I do advise you to open up a window, since the smell of isopropylic alcohol can get a bit harsh, especially if you're cleaning several machines at the same time. The floppy drive cleaning disk .pdf can be downloaded legally from Zeb's Amiga Downloads - just search for "floppy drive cleaner" and it will pop up. I hope this little piece of advice will help prolong the life of all the good old Amiga hardware still out there. Have a nice weekend! Cheers, Mike Last edited by h4tt3n; 01 April 2011 at 14:21. |
