cd32 mobo swap

Hello all. My brother lent me 2 NTSC CD32's, and a PAL CD32 motherboard. He wants me to swap one of the NTSC mobos for the PAL one (along with some other minor h/w issues, and I believe a much-needed CD-lens cleaner session), and I was wondering if there's anything I need to know before grabbing a screwdriver and having at it?

Not really, just the old common sense stuff: Unlatch all ribbon cable connectors before tugging on the ribbon. Don't touch the laser lense.

Also, what's the best way to connect this to an A1200 as a CD-Rom?

Looking more for "purist" looks rather than performance (have my towered 1200 for that ) Was thinking more about parnet boot cd, unless there's a better way of doing it. The 1200 its going next to is my daughters.

A parnet boot CD is the "best" way of doing it, but damn it's slow.
