Big grin Anyone has a clue why The Clue! is not WHDfy'ed yet ?

Hi,

What about someone WHDfy'ing this original point & click ?

The Clue (Clue!, the) ECS & AGA was released in 1994 by Neo software, a game about executing robberies (might suit to ex-cops, ha ha ), and I never heard of it before examining an obscure list of HDFy'd games.

It...
  • Has quite a high score on LemonAmiga
  • Is spreaded on multiple floppies
  • Is supposed to play slow from the disks
  • Might have a German translation
  • The ECS version has a commonly available SPS

Seems a cool game...

Might be because it's made in AMOS (i think?). Great game though

Is there any specific reason why you want to have a WHDLoad install for that very game? It's coded pretty system friendly and runs fine on high end machines AFAIR.

Imagine KGLoad, where you can restart the GUI by pressing the WHDLoad quitkey. Reason enough, at least for me. btw: Is there a manual protection? I'm too lazy to check this.

Not that I really understand what you mean here but the game has a quit option. Anyway, depending on my level of boredom I might consider doing one, that is, if nobody else wants to do it. At least the protection is somewhat interesting.

Well, it's possible to restart KGLoad by pressing the quitkey. KGLoad kills itself after you've started a WHDLoad game. So you can play the next game without the need to reload the frontend manually.

In WHDLoad.prefs

ExecuteCleanup=Execute >NIL: KGLoad:reboot
